The 4K Dual-Engine distributed codec algorithm is specially designed to dispatch in command centers. It has ultra-high definition video conferencing design that meets the needs of video and audio interconnection and allowing efficient collaboration between all operators in the command center.

The biggest feature of this system is the combination of JPEG2000 with low bandwidth compression and H.264/265 deep bandwidth compression, distributing a 4K60Hz, 4:4:4, video signal into two video streams at the same time using only 1GB network switch. The video signals can be transmitted into either of these video streams that satisfy the use of application.

JPEG2000 provides restoration of high image quality and low latency with a delay of up to 1 frame (16 milliseconds). Control of the mouse would be very sensitive and smooth with no staggering movements. Whereas for H.264/265, it does provide high-quality video images as well but is more often deployed for video wall displays or video monitoring purposes.

This system’s potential is greatly strengthened with the addition of the Visual Control Management (VCM) software. By using this software, one will be able to have video previews of all the video signals, drag and drop any video signals onto the video wall displays and selecting any of the pre-saved scenes to instantly change the layout and signals on the video wall.
